about

Released on 2006's Old Hat.

In the summer of 2005 the band began writing new songs with a more Americana feel to them, leaning on classic rock, blues, country and folk and huddled in Walt Mamaluy's basement which they dubbed "Electric Hazard Studios" for the um, hazardous recording conditions found there.

lyrics

Monday starts at midnight and Dave says Japan is quite nice
We know where to go, but we're still gonna take it slow
It's a long time coming
You can stop your running
You're finally home
Where you belong
Rest your head
In your own bed

Can't remember life without you or the silly things we used to do
Life is such a treat when you're left standing on your own two feet
It's a long time coming
You can stop your running
You're finally home
Where you belong
Rest your head
In your own bed

And everybody is so happy you're here.

Drunk off our ass and we're gonna make these good times last
Hear the church bells chime and it's so good to be alive
It's a long time coming
You can stop your running
You're finally home
Where you belong
Rest your head
In your own bed

And everybody is so happy you're here.
